Tank Strike Privacy Policy

Tank Strike (the "Game") is a single-player and local multiplayer artillery game. This policy explains what data the Game collects, why, and what your rights are.

What We Collect

When you submit a score to the global leaderboard, we collect:

• Player name — a display name you choose (optional; defaults to "PLAYER").
• Score, difficulty, planets completed, and anonymised match statistics — numeric gameplay results.
• Country — a 2-letter code, only if you set it in your profile.
• Device ID — a random UUID (ts_device_id) stored locally in your browser/app. It is not linked to your identity, email, phone number, Apple ID, Google account, or advertising ID. Its sole purpose is to let us rank personal-best scores and prevent duplicate submissions.
• Platform — web, pwa, ios, or android, for stats.
• Game version — so we can interpret scores from different balance tunings.

On the native iOS and Android app builds, the Game also uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Analytics — we log gameplay and app events such as app opens, screen views, planet starts/completions, difficulty selection, and rewarded-ad outcomes. These events help us understand game stability and feature usage.
• Google AdMob rewarded ads — when you choose to watch a rewarded ad for an in-game benefit, Google may receive device and app information needed to deliver, limit, secure, and measure ads.

What We Do NOT Collect

• No email, phone number, account, or real-world identifier.
• No precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photos.
• No payment card details or direct purchases inside the Game.

Analytics And Ads

Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob are enabled only in the native mobile app builds. The web and PWA versions do not send Firebase Analytics events from the live game, and rewarded ads are not shown there.

These third-party providers may process technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, approximate region, crash or performance context, and identifiers used for analytics or advertising. We do not receive your Google account, Apple account, email address, or other direct identity information from these services.

Google may use the data it collects through Firebase and AdMob according to its own terms and privacy policies. You can learn more at Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Local Storage

The Game stores settings (difficulty, audio, unlocked planets, saved arcade run, player name, tutorial-seen flag, device ID) locally on your device using browser localStorage. This data never leaves your device except as described above.

Sharing

Submitted scores appear on the public global leaderboard under the display name you chose. We do not sell your data. We share limited data with service providers only as needed to operate leaderboards, analytics, and rewarded ads. Aggregate, anonymised statistics (e.g. "players have fired 1M shots total") may be published.

Your Choices

• Play offline — the Game is fully playable without submitting any score. No network call is required unless you complete an arcade run while online.
• Reset your data — enable Dev Mode and use "Reset Game" to clear all local game data, or clear the app's data in your device settings.
• Avoid rewarded ads — rewarded ads are optional. If you do not choose an ad-based reward, the Game will not request a rewarded ad for that action.
• Limit tracking — on supported devices, you can use your operating system privacy settings to limit ad personalization or analytics collection provided by platform and Google settings.
• Request deletion — email the address below with your player name and approximate submission date, and we will remove your entries from the leaderboard.

Children

The Game is rated for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 beyond the minimal gameplay information described above. No personal identifiers are collected.

Changes

We may update this policy as the Game evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
